Verify the burner rings or caps are centered. The knob should spring back into place and stop clicking. Push in or down on the knob and then release. Make sure the burner control knob is not stuck in. If using a charbroiler, Wolf suggests turning on the hood 5 minutes before the charbroiler. ![]() The other option is to leave it all assembled and losen, adjust, tighten the flow rating adjusting screw until you get the flow range you want. Make sure ventilation hood is on to increase airflow. So all you need to do is put the circular silver piece of metal on and line up the flow rate adjusting screw hole with the dent in the middle. This is where the flow adjusting screw was seated from the factory. You should see a single dent in the side of the circle. The first way is to disassemble the versatip down to the point where you just have the butane tank / handle with brass tube sticking out with a circular brass looking piece of metal at the base. If you have already put the calibration out you can restore this in 1 of 2 ways. Anyway if you end up doing this make sure you screw it all the way back in and make sure the circular silver piece of metal doesn't move while the screw is lose or it will put the calibration out.
